COVIES, Inc. is a disposable medical barrier device design, prototyping and marketing firm. In consultation with medical professionals, we develop new products in response to 21st century infection control and prevention challenges. We legally protect them, and market them to industry.
COVIES technologies are available for licensing. Two of the products seen in the video on the COVIES home page have issued patents and all other improvements are the subjects of patent applications. We have access to an impressive pipeline of new technologies.
The design imperatives of low-cost user friendliness and high-return infection control effectiveness guide the development of all COVIES technologies. Our gown technologies passively deliver barrier devices to procedure sites, reducing materials gathering time, reducing the use of packaging materials and increasing the likelihood of barrier device use. They provide a built-in means of visually monitoring for barrier use compliance by staff and patients.
